Check Out These Union County Pools + Spray Grounds Now Opening

Union County residents can now enjoy several pools and spray grounds this summer.

UNION COUNTY, NJ — With all the hot weather, now is the perfect time to take a tip in some of the pools and spray grounds that Union County is offering.

All County-run pools and spray grounds will be open for the summer season as of Saturday, May 28.

“Union County is home to several spray grounds and pools that our residents can use during the hottest months of the year,” said Commissioner Chair Rebecca L. Williams. “We encourage residents of all ages to come out and enjoy these family friendly facilities as we begin the summer season.”

County Spray grounds and pools will be open on weekends and Memorial Day through June 27. On June 27, all County-run facilities will operate seven days a week.

The following spray grounds will be open May 28, 29, 30 and June 4, 5, 11, 12, 18, 19, 25, 26 (seven days a week starting June 27) from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m:

  • Wheeler Park, Linden
  • Cedar Brook Park, Plainfield
  • Mattano Park, Elizabeth
  • Warinanco Park, Roselle
  • Rizzuto Park, Union

The following Union County pool will be open on May 28, 29, 30 & June 4, 5, 11, 12, 18, 19, 25, 26 (seven days a week starting June 27) from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

  • Walter E. Ulrich Memorial Pool, Rahway River Park, Rahway
