Coffee Shop In Cranford Serves 'Best Pumpkin Drink' In NJ: Report

CRANFORD, NJ — A local coffee shop in Cranford is giving Starbucks a run for its money, according to a recent NJ.com review.

The start of fall also marks the start of pumpkin spice season, and Lauren Musini of NJ.com rated the pumpkin spice latte at Track 5 in Cranford as the best in New Jersey.

Musini argues that many pumpkin coffee drinks are overwhelmingly sweet or contain so many other ingredients that they mask the pumpkin flavor. But Musini said Track 5 uses real pumpkin puree, which makes the flavor more prominent over the subtle spice notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, clove and ginger.

In addition, Musini said Track 5's latte is topped with the "perfect amount of milk foam and a small ribbon caramel." This drink is available all year round, according to NJ.com.

Besides the classic pumpkin spice latte, Track 5 also offers a pumpkin cream cold brew, an iced pumpkin spice latte with pumpkin sweet cream cold foam and frozen pumpkin spice latte.

If you're look for a bite to eat, the coffee shop serves wide selection of fall desserts, such as a pumpkin biscotti, scones, cookies and granola, as well.

The rock 'n' roll-theme coffee shop is located on 5 Eastman Street in downtown Cranford and is located every day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
