• Registration Now Open For Cranford Winter Recreation Programs (patch.com) — Cranford residents can now register for a wide range of 2025–26 winter recreation programs, from youth and adult sports like pickleball and soccer to arts, theatre, and wellness classes. Run by the Cranford Recreation and Parks Department, these offerings are first-come, first-served, with limited spots and registration available online or at the Cranford Community Center on Walnut Avenue.
   

• Cranford Theater Receives National Award for Community Support and Persistence (wdhafm.com) — Cranford Theater has been honored with a national “BIG Holiday Giveback” award, bringing $1,500 in Downtown Cranford gift cards back into the community. After surviving COVID shutdowns, Hollywood strikes, and a ceiling collapse, the town’s last independent movie house is adding new programming like comedy nights and stage shows to keep Cranford’s downtown vibrant.
