Cranford Celebrates 'The Golden Girls' With Girls Night Out Events
Downtown Cranford is offering a paint night, a dog adoption event, film screenings and more all in honor of 'The Golden Girls' legacy.

CRANFORD, NJ — Downtown Cranford is going golden and honoring the famous sitcom "The Golden Girls" with a variety of events starting this week.
The "Stay Golden" celebration begins Tuesday and will continue until June 14.
Cranford Theater will host two screenings of "Forever Golden! A Celebration of Golden Girls!" on June 7 and June 14. Tickets can be purchased at this link.

This film, released in 2021, is a special screening of some of the most memorable episodes from the series, featuring late actresses Betty White, Bea Arthur, Estelle Getty and Rue McClanahan.
If you can't get enough of Rose, Blanche, Dorothy and Sophia, Downtown Cranford has other events planned for the coming week, as well.

A Golden Girls paint night will take place at Fire Me Up Studio, at 117 Union Ave. North, on Thursday, June 9.
Because Betty White was a passionate animal lover and advocate, Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming Cranford-Westfield will hold a dog adoption event on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2. p.m. The adoption event is in conjunction with Wise Animal Rescue. Donations will be accepted to this organization during the event as well.
Last people will be able to pick up St. Olaf cheesecake ice cream at Cranford Vanilla Bean Creamery from June 7 to June 14 as part of the celebration. St. Olaf is a town located in north Minnesota, which is the often-referred to hometown of Rose Nylund in "The Golden Girls."
