Cranford Peeps Sculpture Competition Seeks Participants

Calling all creatives: Cranford is seeking entrants to create wall art, dioramas and sculptures featuring Peeps candy.

CRANFORD, NJ - Calling all creatives: Cranford is seeking entrants to create wall art, dioramas and sculptures featuring Peeps.

Dubbed the Downtown Cranford Peeps-Tacular 2023, the competition will feature local participants’ colorful candy displays from April 1 to 9.

Only one entry is allowed per person; entries must not exceed 18 inches in any dimension and not include hazardous materials, food or spillable items.

"We can't wait to show off the artistic skills of local residents when it comes to Peeps," Downtown Cranford said in a statement. "The deadline to register for the Downtown Cranford Peeps-Tacular is this Friday, so make sure to reserve your spot if you want to take part in this event."

Downtown Cranford may deny entries deemed offensive, controversial, inappropriate, religious, political or poorly constructed.

Winners will be awarded the following gift cards from Downtown Cranford:

  • 1st Place: $100
  • 2nd Place: $75
  • 3rd Place: 50
