Cranford Pool Sets Opening Date For 2023 Season

Cranford residents, prepare your towels and sunscreen: an opening date has been set for the Cranford pool and fitness center this year.

CRANFORD, NJ - Cranford residents, prepare your towels and sunscreen: an opening date has been set for the Cranford pool and fitness center this year.

The pool is slated to open on May 27 for the 2023 season, according to the township’s 2023 pool brochure. Registration is open now; a Union County I.D. card is required to sign up.

Hours of operation will be 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on May 27 through 29; 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays May 30 through June 23; 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekends June 3 through June 18 and daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. from June 24 through September 3.

The club consists of two pools (Orange Avenue Pool and Centennial Avenue Pool), diving boards, slides and a splash pad.

Family rates start at $375 for residents and $625 for non-residents; individual passes are also offered starting at $300 for residents and $475 for non-residents. Weekday guest passes will go for $10, and weekend guest passes will go for $15.

Special events planned for the season include float nights at both pools. Swim lessons for children as young as six months are also available.
