Cranford Student Selected for NJ Honor Choir
Bobby Morris participated in his first All State Honor Choir Concert on May 4.

Cranford student Bobby Morris and two other Union County students were selected to participate in the Annual New Jersey High All State Honor Choir Concert on May 4.
This was Morris’ first honor choir experience, according to Garwood music teacher Tom Pedas.
Other students who participated in the annual Honor Choir were Conor Flood of Scotch Plains and Tommy Meade of Clark.
The New Jersey Honor Choir concert is an annual event sponsored by the American Choral Directors Association and the New Jersey Music Educators Association and open to public and private schools, churches and private studios throughout the state. This year the choir sang music in six different languages including Latin, German, Hebrew, Ukranian, Swahili and Spanish.
The honor choir was conducted by nationally acclaimed conductor Dr. Galvan, professor of music at Ithaca College in New York.
