Here's what you need to know today, Aug. 6:

National Night Out: The 30th annual National Night Out is tonight beginning at 6 p.m. Interact with Cranford Police, enjoy activities and maybe even donate some blood.

Chamber Networking Event: Tonight is the Chamber Member and One Source Solutions Networking event.  All chamber members are invited to Montclair University for a BBQ, Networking event and Baseball game in Yogi Berra Stadium. Movie night: Visit Cranford Community Center tonight for the 7 p.m. showing of “Suspicion.” A summary of the movie according to All Movie: “Wealthy, sheltered Joan Fontaine is swept off her feet by a charming ne'er-do-well (played perfectly by Cary Grant). Though warned that Grant is little more than a fortune hunter, Fontaine marries him anyway. As he leads their marriage and his own gambling debts into a crisis situation, Fontaine begins to suspect that her beloved husband might be capable of murder -- perhaps even her own -- a suspicion confirmed when Grant's likeable business partner dies under mysterious circumstances. The suspense builds perfectly around the two characters in typical Hitchcock style.”

Don’t forget! Tuesday’s are “Fun Tuesdays” at the Cranford Public Library featuring crafts, a presentation and other activities.

Every Tuesday is Cranford Family Dinner Night. Be sure to get your family together and enjoy some of the specials the eateries in Downtown Cranford have to offer.
