Man Throws Eggs, Curses At Customers At Union County Business: Police

The 44-year-old was reportedly in an argument at the business.

CRANFORD, NJ — A 44-year-old man was charged after cursing at customers and throwing eggs at a business on Sept. 20, Cranford Police said.

Derrick Brooks, of Cranford, is charged with criminal mischief and harassment.

At around noon, officers responded to a business in the 500 block of Centennial Avenue for a reported dispute.

Police said Brooks was saying obscene words at patrons and threw eggs at the building.

He is awaiting an appearance in Municipal Court.
