ELIZABETH, NJ — A person was hit by a driver on Nov. 26 along Route 1 & 9 northbound near South Broad St., City of Elizabeth spokesperson Ruby Contreras said.
At around 7:45 p.m., Elizabeth Police responded to the area for a report of a crash involving someone who was hit by a car.
The person was taken to the hospital in critical but stable condition, Contreras said. The driver stayed at the scene.
