Still Time To Sign Up For Cranford's Holiday House Decorating Contest

CRANFORD, NJ — Think you have the best-decorated house in the township? There is still time to get signed up for Cranford's 9th annual Holiday House Decorating Contest, and put yourself in the running for both a prize and some bragging rights.

There are some different criteria for each individual prize, too. Winners will be announced in six categories: Most Outrageous, Most Creative, Most Traditional, Most Elegant, All Around Favorite, and FAN Favorite.

Entries must be submitted by Friday, Dec. 15. To enter, email the completed form and a picture of your decorated house to recreation@cranfordnj.org.

Prizes consist of a gift card to a local establishment, as well as a yard sign "to let everyone know you're a winner!"

Judging will take place the week of Dec. 18, and winners will be announced by week's end, said the township Recreation and Parks Department. Entrants are asked to leave the lights on through the week.

A committee will decide on the winners — except for the Fan Favorite, which is up to Cranford residents.
