Students, Parents To See Shift In Transportation Around Cranford Schools

Construction at multiple schools approved in a Jan. 2024 bond referendum is bringing changes to how visitors can access the buildings.

CRANFORD, NJ - Cranford parents and students will have to navigate through a number of transportation adjustments when the 2025-2026 school year begins on Sept. 4.

Construction at multiple schools approved in a Jan. 2024 bond referendum is bringing changes to how visitors can access the buildings this fall. The district is working with the Cranford Police Department to ensure safe and smooth processes are in place at drop-offs and other sites used daily.

"While we are excited about the long-term benefits these improvements will bring to our facilities, we recognize the short-term challenges they may pose, particularly in terms of parking and traffic flow around our schools," added Superintendent Scott Rubin.
