​Win Free Food For A Year, Mexican Eatery Readies New Union County Location

The company says 50 new jobs will be coming to the area.

UPDATE: The grand opening will now be on Friday. Beginning at 10:15 p.m., the first 100 guests who make a purchase will win free burritos or bowls each month for a year.


LINDEN, NJ - QDOBA Mexican Eats is continuing its northeast expansion by opening a new location at 1951 East Edgar Road.

The grand opening on Sept. 15 will mark the chain's 26th location in the Garden State. The first 100 guests who make a purchase on Monday will be rewarded with free burritos or bowls every month for a year.

The company says 50 new jobs will be coming to the location, and is inviting local schools, youth sports teams and nonprofits to apply for its community fundraising initiative. Through this program, QDOBA gives 25 percent of the money it takes in back to the areas where there restaurants are located.

“Linden is a thriving community, and we’re thrilled to bring QDOBA’s fresh, made-in-house Mexican eats to local residents and businesses,” said Pranav Desai, Executive at TIG Corporation, owner of 40 QDOBA franchise locations. “Our goal is to create a go-to spot for everyone whether it’s a quick lunch, a family dinner, or catering an event. We can’t wait to meet our new neighbors and share the flavors we’re known for.”

The new location will offer dine-in, takeout and catering services with hot bar options, boxed meals, and group bundles. Whether you're in the mood for tacos, quesadillas or one of their salads, QDOBA says you will never pay extra for guacamole or queso.
