UNION, NJ — A Union Township woman was arrested after a man was stabbed to death on Oct. 18.
Erika Hampton, 39, is charged with first-degree murder, third-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and fourth-degree unlawful possession of a weapon, the Union County Prosecutor's Office says.
At around 10 p.m., officers responded to the Vermella Union Apartments at 2 Vermella Wy for a report of someone who was unresponsive. They found Nana Kwadwo Takyi Ankmah, 37 of Union, with a serious stab wound.

He was taken to the hospital and later pronounced dead.
