Women-Owned Eye Care Office Opens In Cranford

CRANFORD, NJ - Cranford residents won’t have to go far for specialty eye care in town, if this new business has anything to say about it.

Spectacular Eye Care, located at 2 South Ave. West, celebrated its grand opening in Cranford on Saturday, complete with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The site sits at the former location of Flic Spa, which shuttered during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The female-owned facility, helmed by optometrist Dr. Katie Ciesek, offers comprehensive vision services ranging from eye exams and eyeglasses to prescription sunglasses and contact lenses. Staff includes opticians Maggie and Fernando Nazco.

“Our team … [is] fully dedicated to improving and preserving your vision,” the office said in a statement announcing its opening. “Personal care and individualized attention is why people in the Cranford area come [to] Spectacular Eye Care for all of their vision care needs.”

Spectacular Eye Care is open Mondays to Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Fridays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The office is closed on Sundays.
