With abundant inventory and favorable housing affordability conditions, Davis Realtors expects this year’s National Open House Weekend to welcome more buyers than ever before.
“This nationwide event offers buyers the chance to visit homes in their local area and connect with our professional Realtor® Associates for answers to their questions about home ownership and the community,” according to Stuart Davis, owner of East Brunswick based Davis Realtors®.
For this special weekend, Davis Realtors® has slated a total of 23 open houses in East Brunswick, Monroe, South Amboy, Piscataway, Somerset County, and Marlboro in Monmouth County, with more being added daily.

“The internet makes it so easy for buyers to find an open house,” Rollie Davis, manager at Davis Realtors said. “Just call our office at 732-254-6700 or check out our website, www.DavisRealtors.Net to search for open houses. Simple.”
Earlier this year reported housing affordability conditions reached the highest level since recordkeeping began in 1970. The housing affordability index is based on the relationship between the median home price, median family income and the average mortgage interest rate. The index reached 206.1 for the U.S. in January, the first time the index broke the two hundred mark. The higher the index, the greater the household purchasing power. This means the typical family has roughly double the income needed to purchase a median-priced home.
