Players Needed for U11 Summer Select Team

The Silver Bullets Soccer Club is looking for boys who want to play on a U11 summer select time, created in honor of founding member Jeremiah “Jerry” Forest, who died Oct. 21, 2011 at his home.

The team will play in town tournaments, the Central Jersey Invitational on July 14 and July 15, and MAPS Caps on July 21 July 22. The team will be coached by Jerry’s longtime friend, Corrado Carbone, and assisted by Anthony Truppi. The team is looking for a goalie and one or two field players.

Born in Knockduff Meelin, Co. Cork, Ireland, Jerry had lived in Parlin for the past 20 years. He was a graduate of Trinity College in Dublin as well as St. Francis College in Brooklyn Heights N.Y. He was the proud owner and operator of Celtic Carting & Demolition.
