Body Of Man Found Floating In East Brunswick River: NJSP

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — The dead body of a man was found floating in a river in East Brunswick on Thursday morning, New Jersey State Police said.

On Thursday, around 7:42 a.m., the Marine Service Troopers were dispatched to the area of the Raritan River and South River in East Brunswick Township for the report of a person in the water.

On arrival, troopers found the body of a dead man floating in the water, where the Raritan River meets the South River, NJSP said.

Authorities have not identified the man or provided any additional information.

The investigation is active.

The South River is a major tributary of the Raritan River in Central Jersey.
