Woman Charged After Driving Car Into Protesters
A woman was arrested after she reportedly drove her car into a group of protesters in Fairview on Saturday, police said.
According to the Fairview Police Department, the incident took place on Saturday afternoon during a walk held as part of a public demonstration; an altercation occurred between a protest participant and a motorist at the intersection of Fairview Avenue and Anderson Avenue, authorities said.

Driver's Body Found After Truck Plummets Off Bridge
Authorities recovered the body of a truck driver who was presumed dead after a tractor-trailer cab crashed through the side of the Delaware Memorial Bridge Friday and fell into the river below.
In a statement released Saturday, the Delaware River & Bay Authority said the man's body and the truck were successfully recovered from the river around 11:10 a.m. Crews had arrived on-site several hours earlier, but recovery efforts were delayed due to water and tide conditions.

Man Shot & Killed In Paterson
A man was shot and killed in Paterson on Saturday night, according to authorities.
Around 10:42 p.m., Paterson Police responded to the area of Clinton Street and Garfield Avenue on a report of shots fired.
On arrival, they found a 52-year-old man from Hackensack lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound. The man was taken to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, authorities said.
