William Koch Jr. lost his son, Cpl. Steven R. Koch of the 82nd Airborne Infantry, who was killed in action on March 3, 2008, in Afghanistan. His family also lost their daughter and sister Lynne Koch to the effects of PTSD from the loss of Steven. During the month of March, the will present a display created by Koch to honor all veterans, wounded warriors, and fallen soldiers along with his son and daughter. Challenge coins, medals, a Soldier’s cross, and poems in image and word make up this display, designed to pay tribute to those who have served their country and those that pay the ultimate sacrifice for freedom. Whether you have a loved one fighting for America, or are simply an avid supporter of the troops, this moving tribute is not to be missed. William Koch Jr. has been a resident of East Brunswick for over Eight years with a hometown of North Brunswick and church and school ties to Milltown, all of Middlesex County.
