East Brunswick District Opens Registration For Free Adult School

The free adult school program is offered under the Middlesex County Adult Education Consortium.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — Adults in East Brunswick now have the opportunity to access a wide variety of educational programs.

The Adult School is held at the school district and offered under the Middlesex County Adult Education Consortium.

These programs include evening High School Equivalency (HSE) Prep, evening English as a Second Language (ESL), as well as daytime and evening Citizenship classes.

The Adult Basic Skills Program is funded by State and Federal grants through the NJ Department of Labor and Workforce Development and is provided as a community service by the East Brunswick Board of Education.

Registration for the 2025-25 program is now open.

However, registration does not confirm placement in the program. All registrations will be completed online. There will be no in-person registration.

Classes will be in-person with the possibility of some virtual instruction days.

All classes are free but good attendance is required to stay in the program. All students must have their own device to participate in the online portion of the program. These devices can include a desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone.

Classes will begin on Sept. 16 and run through May.

This program is open to East Brunswick Residents as well as those from surrounding towns.
