East Brunswick School District Calendar For 2024-25: Key Dates To Know

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — Summer is almost over for East Brunswick students, as only a few weeks remain until school reopens.

The first day of school in East Brunswick is Thursday, Sept. 5.

The township has 11 schools and over 8,000 students.

Here are some of the important 2024-25 school year dates to get on the calendar:

Family-teacher conferences: Oct. 22-25; March 18-21, 2025
Rosh Hashanah: Oct. 3 & 4, district closed
Diwali: Nov. 1, no school for students
Professional development day, no school: Nov. 1
Election Day: Tuesday, Nov. 5
Thanksgiving break: Nov. 28-29
Winter break: Dec. 23 - Jan. 1, 2025
Martin Luther King Jr. Day, no school: Monday, Jan. 20, 2025
Presidents Day: Monday, no school: Feb. 17, 2025
