East Brunswick's 'Dining for a Cause' Returns This Month
Event to raise money for township and county food bank, summer programs and more.

East Brunswick residents will have an opportunity for a nigh of food and comedy later this month to raise funds for various township programs.
The 5th Annual Dining for a Cause will be held on Sept. 28 at the East Brunswick Community Arts Center, located at 721 Cranbury Road. The event, hosted by Mayor David Stahl, brings a casual evening of food and entertainment starting with a light buffet at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Room before guests move to the Playhouse 22 Theater for an adult comedy show featuring Vinnie Brand of the Stress Factory.
Funds raised at the event will benefit summer day camp scholarships for at-risk kids; the East Brunswick food bank and MCFOODS, the Middlesex County food bank; the veterans at the Menlo Park Home; and the Aldersgate Crisis Room, among others.
