Next week, the Hammarskjold Middle School Drama Club will present Cinderella Jr.” on Thursday, March 17, and Friday, March 18. The production is an adaptation of the Disney animated film and focuses on poor Cinderella, who is constantly mistreated by her wicked stepmother and stepsisters. Once she’s denied the chance to go to the Royal Ball, she gets a little help from her mice friends and Fairy Godmother and eventually falls in love.
This musical is good for all ages and begins at 7 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center at Hammarskjold School, 200 Rues Lane. Tickets are $5 and go on sale the 6:30 p.m. on the night of the performances.
