Old Bridge Volunteer Fire Company is coming together to help one of its own, Tommie Lukowski.
Lukowski, 22, has been fighting cancer for the better part of 4 years. Lukowski has had somewhere in the ball park of 30+ surgeries to help battle the cancer and replace his elbow, which was removed when he was first diagnosed. Lukowski continues to fight this battle with his head held high.
On Thursday April 5, the Laughter Saves Lives Foundation is hosting a night of comedy at the East Brunswick Performing Arts Center. The event will raise money for the Tommie Fund that Old Bridge Volunteer Fire Department started when he was first diagnosed. Comedian Adam Ferrara from the Show Rescue Me will perform along with several other comedians.
