History Discussion to Focus on Need

As part of its series on the Great depression, the Historical Society will feature a discussion by Karen Kecskes.

As part of its series on the Great Depression, the East Brunswick Historical Society is pleased to announce that recently retired Recreation Supervisor, , of East Brunswick Township will be speaking at the from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 25.  

In her role with the township, Kecskes was in charge of working with needy families in town throughout the year, as well as with the Thanksgiving and holiday basket program.  She has the knowledge of the extent of poverty in East Brunswick and will relate current situations to aspects of the Great Depression.
