Hope and Dawn Boutique to Close

A fashion boutique in East Brunswick is in the midst of a clearance sale before having to shutter its doors next week.

Hope and Dawn Boutique, which is attached to Voi Salon and Spa, will be closing after two and a half years of business, proprietor Jodi Reich said.

Reich said she has lost her lease for the current location, and while she hopes to reopen at another location in East Brunswick, nothing has grabbed her interest as of yet.

She hopes to find another space that is similar to the store within a store location at the salon, she said.

"I'm looking for similar space like that (but it) hasn't been easy to find," she said.

Before the store closes, Reich is having a large sale of her remaining merchandise, with 50 percent off nearly everything.

Specials include jewelry pieces marked at $1, tights for $5, camisoles and tanks for $8, and long-sleeve t-shirts for $10, she said.

She also has a bargain rack with items of clothing marked at $5 and $10, she said.

She still has a lot of pocketbooks and jewelry left, she said. 

"If people plan early for Mothers Day they can find some good bargains," she said.

The store will be open from 1-4 p.m. Tuesday, March 12 and from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesday, March 13.

Reich said her boutique is unique to East Brunswick in its selection and customer service.

"I really stress personalized service (and can) accessorize people and dress them," she said. "People tell me they get a lot of compliments from what (they) get from my store."

Hope and Dawn Boutique is located at 253 Route 18, next to VOI Salon and Spa.
