Hydrant Flushing Announced Through April 19

Water pressure will be low, but water will remain safe to drink.

Hydrant flushing will take place throughout East Brunswick through April 19, according to a Nixle message from the East Brunswick Police Department.

Flushing will occur daily between 10 a.m. and 6 a.m., and water pressure may be lower during these times, according to the message.

Water discoloration may also be seen, but it does not affect the quality of drinking water. However, residents are advised not to do laundry with the discolored water, according to the message.

The hydrant flushing schedule is available at www.eastbrunswick.org.
