Three people died and one is missing after a boat they were in sank in the Atlantic Ocean off Sandy Hook on Sunday.

The Coast Guard received a distress call just after noon on Sunday about a boat taking on water about five miles southeast of Breezy Point, Queens. The boat was sinking in Ambrose Channel — a major shipping lane into the Port of New York/New Jersey and where Raritan Bay meets the Atlantic Ocean.

Police Recover Body Of Man Who Fell Through Ice

Authorities on Saturday recovered the body of a man who fell through ice while walking his dogs, according to media reports.

Police were called to Millstone Park in Monmouth County for a report of a dog stuck in ice, NJ.com reported. Authorities found a hat and jacket and a fresh break at the edge of the lake.

The search was resumed on Saturday and authorities found Michael Rosen, 78, of Millstone a little after 2:30 p.m., News12 reported.

The 78-year-old was walking his dogs when the incident took place, according to reports.

Man Run Over Following Fight In Parking Lot

A man was hospitalized on Saturday after he was run over by a vehicle during a fight at a convenience store in Brick Township police said.

The fight was reported around 1:30 p.m. The initial investigation showed an argument among four people escalated into a fight.

2 Women Killed, 1 Injured In Newark Boat Fire

Two people were killed and a third was injured when a boat caught fire in Newark on Friday.

The women were trapped in the burning boat, which was on a trailer at the time. They were pronounced dead at University Hospital in Newark, authorities said. The man was taken to Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston where he is listed in stable condition, authorities said.

2 Killed In Head-On Car Crash

Two people were killed, and one person seriously injured when a car struck another head-on in Cumberland County on Saturday morning, according to media reports.

Levon Woods was driving east on Route 522 in Maurice River when he struck a Honda head-on, reported News12.

The driver and passenger of the Honda died in the crash and Woods suffered moderate injuries.

Father Of NJ Wrestling Champ Taken Away in Handcuffs Following Brawl

The father of a three-time state wrestling champion was led out in handcuffs, after a massive brawl broke out during a wrestling match on Saturday, according to media reports.

The incident took place at Collingswood High School and led to two people being arrested and an investigation being launched by the New Jersey State Interscholastic Association (NJSIA).

Anthony Knox Sr, father of state champ Anthony Knox Jr. of St. John Vianney, was led away from the venue in handcuffs, NJ.com reported.

The incident took place when Knox Sr., confronted a group of West Deptford fans in the stands, the report said.
