Native American Festival, PowWow In East Brunswick This Weekend
The Raritan PowWow attracts representatives from tribes of the Lakota, Navajo, Mohawk, Seneca, Cherokee, Aztec, Mayan and many more.
EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ – The Raritan Native Amercian Heritage Celebration and PowWow will be held this Saturday and Sunday at the Middlesex County Fair Grounds in East Brunswick.
The event begins at 11 a.m. and end at 7 p.m.
The Raritan PowWow is a full contest PowWow attracting over 500 Native American artists, educators, singers, dancers and performing groups from across the Americas.

There will be over 40 artist booths selling crafts, jewelry, food and more.
Other highlights of the event include authentic cuisine like buffalo burgers, venison stew and corn soup.

Visitors will have the opportunity to interact with representatives from tribes of the Lakota, Navajo, Mohawk, Seneca, Cherokee, Aztec, Mayan, Samoan, Hawaiian and many more.
There will also be a tipi raising.
Tickets are priced at $15 for adults and teens (plus fees if purchasing online); $10 fpr ages 6-12 (plus fees if purchasing online); $10 for seniors 65+ and students with id;
$45 for a family 4-packs (2 adults and 2 children).
Children 5 years old and under can enter for free.
Grand Entry of Dancers will take place at 1p.m. and 5 p.m.
