EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ – A 100-bed assisted living facility is being proposed in East Brunswick.

East Brunswick LLC has applied for preliminary and final major site plan approval for the assisted living facility on Ryder Lane, Lock 87, Lots 20.01, 3.09, and 5.02 in the R-2 zone.

The site currently includes the Aldersgate United Methodist Church, which will remain.

The plan also includes a new food pantry building and a new maintenance building.

The three-story building will have 87 residential units with 100 beds, and associated amenities like outdoor courtyards.

The building will include 47 studios, 35 one-bedroom and five two-bedroom units.

The township’s zoning board will review the application on Thursday.
