North Brunswick Man Dies in Church Lane Accident

Ryan T. Folger, 24, of North Brunswick, died following a car accident on Church Lane near Riva Avenue at about 4 a.m., Sunday, April 21, according to police.

Police said Folger was driving a 2004 Nissan Altima west on Church Lane when the car ran off the roadway near Riva Avenue and hit a metal guard rail. Folger was ejected from the vehicle and received fatal injuries following the impact. The vehicle continued west on Church Lane striking another guard rail in North Brunswick before coming to a stop in the eastbound lane.

Folger was pronounced dead by Dr. Grant Wei of Robert Wood Johnson University hospital at 4:25 a.m. The circumstances surrounding the accident are still being investigated.
