The East Brunswick High School Drama Club is set to perform it's spring musical, "Zombie Prom," this month.
Comical and poignant, "Zombie Prom" is a romp through the "atomic age" of America and the "golden age" of sci-fi horror comic strips brought to life as a musical comedy.
Set in the fabulous '50s, it is the tale of a sweet teenage Gidget-type girl named Toffee and the "rebel without a cause" Jonny. While the unlikely pairing falls in love at Enrico Fermi High School, the tyrant principal Miss Delilah Strict seeks to intervene and persuade Toffee to distance herself from the potentially troublesome Jonny. What ensues is a series of unfortunate events that bring chaos and disorder to the halls of the high school without rhyme or reason. How will this saga end?
