Smashburger, East Brunswick Library Partner For Community Fundraising Event

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — The East Brunswick Public Library will benefit from a delicious partnership this Thursday as the Friends of the Library team up with Smashburger for a dine-to-donate fundraising event.

The collaboration, taking place on Thursday, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., will see Smashburger of East Brunswick donate 20 percent of all qualifying purchases to support library programs and services.

The restaurant, located at 591 Route 18 in East Brunswick, will contribute a portion of proceeds from all dine-in, take-out, and pick-up orders placed during the fundraising window.

Community members can support the initiative by following simple ordering instructions. Customers placing orders in person or by phone should mention the East Brunswick Friends of the Library when ordering. For phone orders, the restaurant can be reached at 732-872-2620.

Those preferring to order online can visit www.smashburger.com and enter the promotional code SBFUNDRAISE during checkout to ensure their purchase counts toward the fundraising total.

To help Smashburger staff prepare for the expected community response, organizers are encouraging supporters to RSVP for the event, though advance registration is not required to participate.
