There’s Still Time To Catch Fall Festivals In Middlesex County
Patch put together a list of local fall festivals and events happening this October in Middlesex County.

MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NJ — Fall is a great time to get outside in New Jersey and take in the rich offering of festivals.
The changing colors of autumn provide a scenic background for fall and harvest festivals, which have contests ranging from apple bobbing and pumpkin carving to lumberjack contests and Halloween parades.
Fall is also the season for corn mazes, pumpkin patches and apple orchard visits.

Here are a few festivals and events in Middlesex County worth putting on the calendar:
- 4th Annual Fall Fest, Milltown: Games, prizes, giveaways and live DJ all on Mainstreet, Milltown, Oct. 31.
- 1st Official Diwali Celebration, Edison: The township’s Diwali celebration on Oct. 22 will include food, music, fireworks, performances from local groups, and vendors.
- 3rd Annual Family Trick or Treat Scavenger Hunt, East Brunswick: On Saturday, Oct. 22, participate in the Annual Family Trick or Treat Scavenger Hunt.
- Diwali Celebrations, East Brunswick: East Brunswick will be celebrating Diwali on Saturday t the Community Arts Center, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Fall Festival & Halloween parade, Carteret: Annual Fall Festival & Halloween Parade will be held Oct. 29, at Carteret Park, 12 p.m. - 2 p.m., featuring a moon bounce, face-painting, pumpkin picking, prizes, music, DJ, cookies, cider, candy and more.
- The Hub City Pumpkin Picking Festival, New Brunswick: The Hub City Pumpkin Picking Festival will be held Sunday, Oct. 16, 10 a.m. at the New Brunswick Youth Sports Complex.
- Halloween Costume Party, South Brunswick: On Oct 23, wear your favorite costume and come to Woodlot Park. Registration is required by Oct. 19.
