Earthquake Rattles New Jersey
A 3.0 earthquake shook northern New Jersey Saturday night, the U.S. Geological Survey confirmed

The quake was centered at Hasbrouck Heights, in Bergen County, putting the time at 10:18 p.m., the USGS said.
Residents of Jersey City, Bergen, Morris, Essex counties and New York City took to social media on Saturday night to report they felt shaking.

Farmer Killed In Machinery Accident
A farmer died in a machinery accident Sunday morning at Hunter's Farm in Cinnaminson, police said.
Police identified the farmer as John Howard Hunter, 77. First responders were dispatched to the farm around 10:15 a.m. and found that Hunter sustained deadly injuries.

NJ State Trooper Kills Ex-Girlfriend, New Boyfriend
A New Jersey State Trooper reportedly fatally shot his ex-girlfriend and her new firefighter boyfriend on Saturday, according to reports.
Hunterdon County Prosecutor Renée Robeson said Sunday that authorities were investigating an apparent double homicide that happened in the Pittstown section of Franklin Township.
The victims were identified as Lauren Semanchik, 33, of Pittstown, and Tyler Webb, 29, of Forked River.

Whale Dies After Collision With Boat
A Minke whale collided with a boat in the Jersey Shore Bay on Saturday, and died shortly after, the Marine Mammal Stranding Center (MMSC) said.
The MMSC received a report from the NJ State Police Marine Unit around 2:45 p.m., regarding a whale sighting in Barnegat Bay near the inlet. MMSC Stranding Staff coordinated with the US Coast Guard, NJ State Marine Police, and Sea Tow while dispatching a Stranding Coordinator to the scene.
MMSC coordinated with officials at a nearby NJ State park to arrange for the whale to be towed to the park facility for necropsy. The recovery operation is expected to take place Monday morning with Sea Tow assistance.

Tractor-Trailer Crashes Into Building
A tractor-trailer crashed into the side of a building in Hamptopn Borough on Saturday morning, according to media reports.
The driver of the truck has to be helped out of the vehicle and the crash also involved a sedan, News12 said.
