NEW JERSEY — A mother of two was found dead in a park, and 13 families were displaced in a fire in Bogota. Here are the headlines from over the weekend:
Woman Found Dead In Park
A Middlesex Borough woman who had been reported missing was found dead Saturday in a park, Middlesex Borough police said.
Jennifer Panek, 38, was reported missing at 3:22 p.m. Friday, Middlesex Borough police said. Family members said she had been last seen walking up the block away from the home she shared with her husband and two children.

Man Killed In Motorcycle Crash
A Galloway Township man was killed in a motorcycle crash Friday evening in Egg Harbor City, authorities said.

On Friday, around 6:34 p.m., police responded to a crash involving a passenger vehicle and a motorcycle at the intersection of Route 30 and Cincinnati Avenue.
Louis Hilton Jr., 57, of Galloway Township, was traveling eastbound on Route 30, when he was struck by the vehicle attempting to make a left turn onto Cincinnati Avenue, police said. The driver of the vehicle that struck Hilton Jr. remained on the scene.
Hilton Jr. was transported by Galloway Township Ambulance Squad personnel to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, Mainland Campus, where he was pronounced dead at 7:26 p.m.
The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.
13 Families Displaced In Building Fire
A fire ripped through a building in Bogota, NJ, displacing 13 families on Sunday, the Bogota Fire Department said.
Around 2 p.m. on Sunday, the Bogota Fire Department was dispatched on a report of smoke coming from a building on Palisade Avenue.
Engine 1 arrived first and stretched a line to the top floor where a fire was located in the cockloft. Firefighters battled the blaze aggressively for an hour. They went to a defensive attack and were able to bring the fire under control in a few hours, the fire department said.
One person was taken to the hospital and no firefighters suffered major injuries.
As a result of the fire, 13 families have been displaced. Red Cross is assisting those in need.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Bogota Fire Prevention Bureau with assistance from the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office.
NJ Man Charged With Attempted Murder In Shooting Incident
A 61-year-old Englewood man who was charged with attempted murder and other offenses in a shooting incident was taken into custody, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said Friday.
On Jan. 31, around 1:28 pm, the Englewood Police Department responded to a disturbance involving a man with a gun at a home on Knickerbocker Road in Englewood. On arrival, officers determined that the armed man fled the scene after firing the gun inside the home.
During an investigation, authorities found that Tyrone A. Prioleau possessed a firearm and fired it in the direction of two people while inside the residence. The two victims were not struck, and no injuries were reported.
He was charged with two counts of first-degree attempted murder; second-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose; second-degree certain persons not to carry a firearm; two counts of fourth-degree aggravated assault by pointing a firearm; and fourth-degree obstructing the administration of law.
On Thursday, the Englewood Police Department located Prioleau in Englewood, and placed him under arrest. He was remanded to the Bergen County Jail, pending a first appearance in Bergen County Superior Court.
Thieves Break Into Home Looking For Car Keys
Thieves broke into a Bridgewater home with residents inside early Monday morning looking for car keys, said Bridgewater Police Chief John Mitzak to Patch.
The burglary happened around 3:30 a.m. on Monday at a home on Ardmaer Drive in the Bradley Gardens section of the Township. No injuries were reported.
