Airport Lease Talks, Booster Club Dining This Week

Special Meeting: The East Hanover Township Council is scheduled to meet at 6 p.m. Monday in the municipal building to discuss a proposed two-year lease agreement with PSE&G for a construction storage area at the former East Hanover Airport site on Ridgedale Avenue, according to a notice on the township website.

TGIF: If you present a flier when you eat at TGIF, 341 Route 10 East, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Wednesday, 20 percent of the sale will be donated to Hanover Park Softball Team's Between the Lines Club. The fundraiser is to help the team raise money for a tournament.

Pancakes: A Park Ice Hockey Pancake Breakfast at Applebee's, 241 Route 10, East Hanover, is scheduled for 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday. The breakfast supports the Park Ice Hockey Booster Club. Tickets are $10 a person and the meal includes pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs and a beverage (coffee, juice, soda or tea).
