Athletic Complex Plan Submission on Board of Ed Agenda
Hanover Park Regional school board is scheduled to meet Wednesday night.

Amendments to the long-range facilities plans for Hanover Park and Whippany Park high schools are among the items on the agenda for Wednesday's Hanover Park Regional High School Board of Education meeting.
The district is planning improvements to the high school athletic facilities that would cost around $20 million, and the board is aiming to advance a referendum on the project in time for a March 12 vote, asking voters whether or not the district may borrow the money for the project.
The board is scheduled to meet at 7:30 p.m. in the board offices at Hanover Park High School.

A special meeting scheduled for Nov. 1, at which the board was expected to amend its long-range facilities plan to include the Physical Education and Athletic Facilities Rehabilitation Project for each school, and submit the project application to the Department of Education, was canceled after Superstorm Sandy knocked out power and closed schools.
Board president Joan Seery had said revised project plans would be presented at the Nov. 1 meeting.
