Fields Special Election on BOE Agenda

A resolution providing for the March 12 special election is up for vote.

A resolution providing for a March 12 special election for voters to consider whether or not the district may borrow money for the proposed field renewal project is on the agenda for Wednesday's Hanover Park Regional school board meeting.

The meeting is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in the board offices at Hanover Park High School.

The proposed athletic complex project, expected to cost a total of approximately $17.5 million for various improvements at Hanover Park and Whippany Park high schools, needs voter approval and will be up for vote in a special election scheduled for 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. March 12.
