Flag, Notebooks Donated to Hanover Park Schools
One Day One School, Novartis and the school's Over the Net Club all made donations to the Hornets.
The Hanover Park Regional Board of Education approved four donations to Hanover Park High School when they met Wednesday.
One Day One School, the nationally-recognized day beautification and safety service, donated a 40-ft. flag pole and a flag to Hanover Park High School. Together the gift has an approximate value of $2,500.
The Hanover Park Over the Net Club purchased 30 sideline chairs and a chair caddie for the volleyball program. Cost of the ites and setup is $3,169.10.

Novartis donated 200 three-ring binders to Hanover Park High, with a combined population of $600.
The Township of East Hanover donated three benches to Hanover Park High School, to be placed near the gymnasium. The benches have a value of $300.

Whippany Park High School also got a gift approved at the school board meeting. The Adams Addressing Company donated a Konica Minolta bizhub PRO 1050 black-and-white copier to the school.
The copier has an approximate value of $5,500 and will go in the music wing to help make copies for the marching band and respective concert programs.
The Whippany Park Music Boosters have pledged the costs for service and repairs.
Adams Addressing also donated pencils and unlined note pads to Whippany Park. The items have a combined approximate value of $200.
The Noble family donated a banner for the tennis team to the Whippany Park athletic program. The banner has an approximate value of $100.
The Board of Education also established a Robotics Club at Whippany Park, with Michael Kleeman as the advisor on a volunteer basis.
