Schools Open on Regular Schedule Friday

After a week of days off and delayed openings, students will return to school Friday at the usual time.

Students in the Florham Park, East Hanover and Hanover Park School Districts will open on a regular schedule Friday for the first time this week.

Throughout the week, schools have had with delayed openings and early dismissals due to fallout from Tropical Storm Sandy and the nor'easter which hit the area Wednesday night.

Dr. Joseph Ricca, the superintendent of the East Hanover School District, said East Hanover Middle School continues to serve as an overnight shelter for residents still without power.
