Small Brush Fire Extinguished Quickly

The Florham Park Police and Fire Department responded to an office building at 100 Campus Dr. at about 1:45 p.m. Tuesday after a small brush fire broke out.

The fire was near the transformer for the office building, which is located across the parking lot.

Building security blocked the road from motor vehicle traffic while firefighters put out the flames, which were small and described as more smoke than anything else.

The office building, which houses Merril Lynch, was not evacuated.

Police and fire personnel left the scene by 2:20 p.m.
