Update: Santa's Coming to East Hanover, Florham Park

He'll have pancakes in Florham Park on Sunday morning and arrive for East Hanover's tree lighting in a fire truck.

Children in East Hanover and Florham Park will have a chance to see Santa on Sunday.

From 8 a.m. until noon, there is a pancake breakfast with Santa at Holy Family School in Florham Park sponsored by the Florham Park Knights of Columbus.

And at 5:45 p.m., East Hanover has its annual tree lighting at the municipal building, with Santa arriving in an East Hanover fire truck. The East Hanover Knights of Columbus takes part in that event with the township and distributes hot chocolate and gifts.

"It's terrific, everybody loves it," Grand Knight Joe Pasquarosa said of the event that last year drew around 200 children. "It's a fun time for everybody."

Pasquarosa said it will be a fun community event after recovering from Superstorm Sandy and extended power outages.

"With all the things we've been through ... it's time to loosen up and see smiles on kids' faces," he said.
