Puppy Read-to-Me: Read to dogs Harry and Brady starting 5 p.m. Wednesday at the Florham Park Library. For Florham Park residents ages 5 and up.

Wine Tasting and Design Seminar: The Rug Importer, 136 Route 10 West, East Hanover, is hosting a  “Home Trends 2013" program from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday. It will be presented by interior designers Vanessa Deleon of Vanessa Deleon Associates of Edgewater, Jodie O’Connor of Jodie O’ Designs of Whippany and Jeffrey Brooks of Jeffrey Brooks Interior Design of Morris County. Coffee with the Council: Meet with Florham Park officials from 7:45 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Friday at the municipal building.

Christmas Tree Lighting and Pictures With Santa: Join borough officials for the annual Christmas tree lighting at 6:30 p.m. Friday at 6:30 at the Gazebo on the Great Lawn at Borough Hall.  DJ Gary Einloth will play holiday music as the tree is lit by the mayor. Immediately following, Santa will arrive at 7 p.m. at the Florham Park Library for free pictures with Santa for residents of Florham Park. Hot Chocolate and cookies will be served.
