$1 Million-Winning Lottery Ticket Sold At Wawa In Mercer

The winning ticket was sold at the Wawa on Oct. 24, officials said.

MERCER COUNTY, NJ – A $1 million-winning lottery ticket was sold at a Wawa in Mercer County, NJ lottery officials said.

The Wawa on 51 Flock Road in Trenton sold the $20 Platinum ticket on Oct. 24.

The Platinum winner typically plays a variety of Scratch-Offs. While scanning the selection of choices, their eyes settled on the Platinum game.

“When I first saw what I won, I thought ‘Ok. Maybe $10,000? That’s great.’ But then I realized it was $1 million,” the winner said in a statement.

The money will have a huge impact on the player’s life. “Money goes fast, so you have to be careful,” the player said.
