• East Windsor, Hightstown Local Governing Bodies Set to Reorganize for 2026, Swear in Council Members (tapinto.net) — East Windsor residents can attend the township’s 2026 Reorganization Meeting on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at 1 p.m. at the Senior Center on Lanning Boulevard, where three council members will be sworn in and local appointments made. Hightstown will hold its own reorganization the next evening at the borough fire house.
   

• East Windsor Police Make Arrests for Walmart Shoplifting, Three Alcohol-Related Incidents (tapinto.net) — Recent East Windsor police activity included a shoplifting arrest at the Route 130 Walmart and several alcohol-related incidents on local roads. Officers charged drivers with DUI and related offenses after a crash on Twin Rivers Drive North, an illegally parked vehicle on Lake/Bennington, and a suspicious vehicle stop on Caterbury Drive involving an East Windsor resident.
