Aurobindo Pharma Breaks Ground On East Windsor Campus
Aurobindo is building a new 170,000-square-foot building in East Windsor.

EAST WINDSOR, NJ β Pharmaceutical company Aurobindo recently broke ground on it new campus in East Windsor.
Mayor Janice S. Mironov, council members, along with Mercer County Executive Dan Benson, joined Aurobindo Chief Executive Officer Swami Iyer, Senior Vice President of Human Resources Theresa Perniciaro, and other company representatives, for the groundbreaking ceremony.
Aurobindo is building a new 170,000-square-foot building on the Aurobindo campus, a state-of-the art pharmaceutical manufacturing facility on Windsor Center Drive.

The new building will join the existing 606,620 square foot Aurobindo building constructed in 2016 and the previously acquired 43,000 square foot Patscenter building on the Companyβs campus along Princeton Hightstown Road.
In January 2017, Aurobindo transformed the East Windsor campus into the companyβs North American headquarters and moved all administrative offices to the adjoining existing Patscenter building.

The Patscenter was designed by renowned British architect Sir Richard Rogers who is known for the Pompidou Cultural Center in Paris.
The new Aurobindo facility will expand the single-stream manufacturing process of generic pharmaceuticals from manufacturing, to packaging, to shipping while maintaining the integrity between products and processes.
Other features of the new construction include walkways, a patio and seating areas, plus enhanced landscaping and berming with deciduous, ornamental and evergreen trees, to integrate the new facility into the existing campus. .
Mayor Mironov said the groundbreaking was an exciting day for Aurobindo and the township.
