EAST WINDSOR, NJ - On June 5, an officer conducted a traffic stop after a registration check revealed that the owner had an active traffic warrant out of Monroe. The officer confirmed the driver was the owner and placed her under arrest. The 22-year-old East Windsor resident was taken to police headquarters, processed, and later turned over to the custody of the Monroe Police.

On June 5, an officer conducted a traffic stop for an unclear license plate. The driver was found to have a suspended license and warrants out of Ewing, Chesterfield, and Bucks County, PA. The driver, a 29-year-old Trenton resident was placed under arrest, transported to police headquarters, processed, and later turned over to the custody of the Ewing Police.

On June 5, an officer conducted a traffic stop after observing the vehicle’s windshield was cracked and there a small child standing unsecure in the rear of the vehicle. A passenger in the vehicle was found to have active warrants out of East Brunswick and North Brunswick and was placed under arrest. The passenger, a 44-year-old North Brunswick resident was taken to police headquarters, processed, and later turned over to the custody of the North Brunswick Police.

On June 7, an officer conducted a traffic stop after observing the vehicle was being operated erratically. The driver showed signs of impairment and was placed under arrest after failing field sobriety tests. The driver, a 32-year-old East Windsor resident, was taken to police headquarters, processed, and later released pending court action.

On June 7, an officer conducted a traffic stop for illegal window tint. The passenger was found to have active warrants out of Lincoln Park, Prospect Park, and Haledon. The passenger, a 35-year-old Paterson resident, was placed under arrest, taken to police headquarters, processed, and released after posting bail.

On June 8, an officer responded to Walmart for a report of a shoplifter being detained by loss prevention personnel. The suspect concealed merchandise valued at $532.04 in a backpack and was placed under arrest. The 18-year-old Pennsauken resident was transported to police headquarters, processed, and released on a summons pending court action.
