Driver Ejected, Killed In NJ Turnpike Crash In East Windsor: NJSP

The crash remains under investigation, New Jersey State Police said.

EAST WINDSOR, NJ — A Burlington County man was ejected from his pickup truck and killed in a crash on the New Jersey Turnpike Friday morning, officials said.

The Toyota pickup truck overturned at 6:37 a.m. on the turnpike's north outer roadway in East Windsor.

According to New Jersey State Police, the vehicle ran off the roadway to the right and struck the guard rail, overturning and ejecting the driver.

Jesse Nobre, 33, of Delran, sustained fatal injuries, State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron told Patch.

The crash remains under investigation, and authorities had no additional information available as of Friday afternoon.

All lanes on New Jersey Turnpike Outer Roadway northbound South of Interchange 8 - NJ 33 in East Windsor were closed early Friday morning, as authorities investigated the crash.

All traffic was diverted to the northbound inner roadway up to Interchange 7A.
